I recently got a sebae for my clowns. Ends up being bleached I believe, hes white with blue tips.

So i read this means you should feed them more till they get their color back, but ive tried feeding mysis and krill and he just doesnt close up to eat!

I put it in his tentacles and near his mouth and IDK how fast theyre supposed to close but he doesnt move an inch.

Hes looking healthy, hes inflated and only closes up at night, or when the clownfish fight in the anemone.

Am I feeding the wrong thing??

Happy to offer some suggestions to start. If you just got the nem let her hang out and get right. Tiny, tiny infrequent feedings - remember nems have one hole for all functions. It needs and opportunity to poop! Maybe one feeding every few days and not too much that might collect and cause any kind of parameter spike. Generally would advise wait, watch, and keep everything as stable as possible. Just my experience/opinion - im but a mere hobbyist just like you!

To secure more/better feedback and track development suggest telling us more about your parameters, tank setup (lights and light settings) + would also take lots of pictures to compare since we may not be able to notice subtle differences day to day if her conditions worsen.

Anyway - good luck, hope your nem thrives and happy reefin!
