So I recently got a great deal on Craigslist on a 60g cube that came with, among other things, a skimmer. I'm a newbie and still trying to learn as much as I can. Can anyone tell me what kind of skimmer this is so I can look it up online and learn about it? And is this a good size for a 60g tank? TIA [emoji2]

Oh yeah and it's going to be a while before I actually have any water in this system. While the tank came with a lot of what I need there's still a lot more I have to get and I'm saving up for stuff as I go. So that means I have time to learn and change things up if needed. For now it's going to just be a FOWLR tank while I'm learning. Then once I feel confident I've got the hang of things I want to add some corals. Mostly easier corals.

Oh yeah, it says it's good for 200 gallon tank, so as long as it works, you should be good to go for sure

Dang that was fast. Thanks. :) So it's not a problem that it's technically for a much bigger tank?

Nah. You really only worry when its too small. Just watch your water, depending on what corals you keep you may end up with water that is "too clean". I say use it, and if you have problems with not enough nutrients then just skim every other day or something. You'll be fine
