Second hand TMC ref habitat 60

I had to strip from this, to this. Not going to lie, removing the bit of plastic firmly attached between the baffle plates made
me sweat a bit. Removing excess silicone by hand wasn't fun either, but I am getting there.

Hi everyone. I have had a right nightmare with the pipes yesterday, they just leak! I undid and siliconed the threads with the marine stuff as advised by local
Marine store owner and it has made it worse. I have asked local store to order me complete new parts, these will be a pain to get off now. Found this out after filling tank as it all appeared ok when tried with tap water.

I also struggled with getting the flow right and the output thingy was a spinning ball thing that was throwing water down my back as I was under the tank messing with the sump. Anyway flow appears ok, will have to drain some water out if I can get new parts as apparently they are in short supply. I am ready to give up.

Living room floor was soaked, I was soaked, when I went into the local marine store I have never met a bunch of friendlier people. I am also into horses and let me tell you, they are an awful lot, so bitchy and cliquey. All the customers in the shop were offering advice whilst I stood there and sobbed!! Husband had gone to work as he thought everything was ok and I faffed around for 8 hours. I can't even lift the 25litre canisters at present due to slipped disks, it was a painful day and evening. Still in 2 minds if I can be bothered to carry on.

I have a temporary fix and I seeded the tanks so that can happen in the meantime. I shoved a plastic sheet I ripped out of the sump behind the pipes so the drips go into the sump
