I'm having a rough time figuring out appropriate flow after adding a second MP10. Everything was happy with just the one but me being a gear junkie and a cyano outbreak I decided to add the second one. When I was trying to set the master/slave configuration I wiped out my old schedule. After upsetting my BTA really good, I have found myself at 25% ReefCrest. Anything more and it seems to be to much for my anemone. The rest of the tank seems to be little flow.My tank is a 26 bowfront. Pictures included for possible ideas

The Master/Slave is a joke, and I ran it on CHILD as well in Anti Sync and the flow was all over the place, and never stayed consistent with my schedule. Ive since decided to go with an SPS dominated tank, with about 8 new pieces and changed my flow patterns to Reef Crest and Constant speed only. I run each on an alternating schedule of 3 hours per, with the other pump running the opposite mode.

Left pump RC, Right on Constant.
Note: I run this setup on my RSR XL200 - 43gal display - both MP10s have been retrofitted with the Urchin Wide Flow Gaurds.

Got ya. I agree with the sporadic flow that seems to do as it wishes. I read about WWC using and recommending the same thing you are. It makes sense to me. Am I seeing correctly that you have yours on 20%? I have both of mine on the back of the tank, I don't know how big of a difference that would make

Look at the other image, as I have the ramps on % vary throughout the day, and slightly lower at night. Maybe I should have them set higher for the SPS, but there is something in me that feels bad with a high ramp at night for the fish inhabitants.

I have been tinkering with location. I had both on the back of the tank, both at different heights. Currently I have one on the back right middle, and the other on the side. I will most likely place them both on the back of the tank, as it looks cleaner, and bump up the flow by 5-10% - this will give my setup roughly 3000gal/hr turn over, so flow shouldn’t be an issue.

Ps.. I recommend the urchin adapters - they disperse flow better in my opinion, and you can place them closer to the water line for better surface agitation without the funneling effect.

As for flow info… I got mine from WWC as well :)
