currently in the market for a second power head for my 40 cube. I am currently running an Icecap 1K which seems to be giving plenty of flow but as I expected I have a couple of dead spots in the tank. I don’t need any thing huge or want to spend $300 on a mp10. I have been looking at the current USA eFlux pumps and jabeo OW-10s.

Any one have experience with these that wants to give some feedback?

I run the Current USA powerheads in my 90. Works pretty good as it will power up to 3 powerheads. You can adjust the first two but the third is full on. Been very reliable and pretty quiet. Not a big fan of Jabeo products; zero customer service.

+1

I like the current too and the price point doesn’t hurt to bad either. I would maybe run one on the opposite side of the icecap and the other in the back. I would say 2 would be good. They have 3 different flows powers if I remember right. The mid is 1k I think, but I always say get the largest one. Never know how far away you next upgrade is.

I run 1 MP on my 180 and 2 Hydor on the other panels at different levels, the back one is at the bottom aimed at the rocks and just high enough to not blow sand around

To be clear, the third pump can be adjusted from 10-100%. It just can't be set to pulse or surge like the other two can. It's primarily designed for a return pump, but can be used for a power head just as long as you don't care about those features.

Awesome thanks think the eFlux will be what I get just for the fact I can add a second later on
