Secrets for Zoa keeping

hi everyone what’s the secret for zoa growing and creating more heads? Just have a 40B with a hang on the back filter, heater, gyre, and using fritz rpm blue for weekly water changes, hipargaro led....I read people use vitamin c, any other magic potions that don’t cause algae outbreaks?

My zoa's grow in moderate light with very little flow. If there is to much flow they will retract and close up. I don't use any magic potions but maybe others can chime in and I will learn something also.
