How do you secure your aquarium against earthquake. In the last 7.0 earthquake in Orange County, the water shoot a little but did not spill outside the aquarium. My aquarium in on wheels so that its easy for me to move it around at will. Not sure if this is an advantage against the earth quake but it makes the maintenance part really easy.

Depending on the type of earthquake/wave, the wheels may actually help you. There are "earthquake rollers" and flexible foundations that are used on some structures that dampen the lateral motion. To a certain degree the wheels mimic those designs.

A quality tank can handle the water sway. Id be more worried about what can fall onto the tank (china cabinet, things on wall etc) that would crack the glass.
