Does anyone know what causes this error when using an iPhone on reef2reef?

It’s a pain if I’ve typed in a bunch and then risk losing it if I don’t copy it first.

I've noticed it happens to me when I switch out of the R2R page for too long and then switch back in, or if I left the page open when I closed down my browser and haven't refreshed the page since I reopened my browser - it makes me refresh before I can submit a post, check notifications, etc.

If you have a reply open too long the security session token will expire.

Are you using the web or the app? I don’t know much about the app.

With the web autosave should keep keep the draft saved, but not sure if it gets cleared when you click submit (and that submit fails).

There is also (three dot action menu on post) a save draft button that may help.

I also assume if your device has private browsing turned on and/or you roam to a different tower or your devices switches from cell to Wi-Fi or back that the session token needs to be renewed as well.

30 minutes ago I had the same message on my compute.

I refreshed the page and it was gone

If there is an app for the IPhone I don't use it. I just have it saved in my Favorites

Last night around 9pm pacific I couldn’t get reef2reef to load on my phone but I didn’t get any errors.

I just went to bed early since I didn’t have yall.

This! If you move around on your browser to other things and leave R2R open sometimes it makes you reload for security purposes.

Randy try simply refreshing the page if you have been away. I think you should see your auto saved msg populate the form. Then you can continue or submit.

It repopulates with most, but often not all of what I wrote.

Since the way I reply to folks often has me going to other pages to get links or data or whatever, it happens enough to be annoying, especially since things like copy and past on the iphone are not nearly as facile as on a computer.

Typo one line, save/post. Then open it up in the editor and keep typing for two minutes, save Repeat.

Edit: and the automatic fill has distorted reality of what I TYPE, not “typo”. I can’t edit fast enough.
