Sediment Filter 10" VS 20"

This is probably a self explanatory question but I just want to know all of the pros and cons of both. I'm looking for some information on Sediment Filters. What is the benefit of running a 10" VS a 20" does it just filter more water before clogging? Also what other benefits from each do I get?

Just longer lifespan because it has more surface area. Im not sure if it saves money or not.

Both. 20” 1 micron and 10” .35 micron
