Thinking about putting a sediment filter on my auto water change setup to filter out some of the stuff floating around in the reservoir. Anyone running one if so was it worth it. I am using a dos for auto water changes and wondering if a filter would put extra strain on it.

Something like this would not put any strain on your AWC system.
Just drop in a maxijet and wrap floss around the internal tube instead of using the cartridges for the unit

Not sure if this is applicable, but I use this before my RO system booster pump and it's easy
