I've just switched to a different brand of Food Grade Calcium Cloride Dihydrate, and am seing some sediment/precipitation after letting the mixture settle overnight. (pic below)

I'm preparing a quite concentrated solution being 125g CaCl3 and 20g MgCl3 in 1000ml DI water.

Any ideas what this may be? FIlter before using or just ignore it?

Might also include some iron. I wouldn't worry about it. Some of the brands folks used with success, such as Prestone Driveway Heat, always showed brownish precipitate.
