Seeding the tank

I’m not going to get a manderian but cause I’m weird about a healthy tank would it be ok to buy a bottle of pods from mikes to seed my tank with buggies??

Ask your locals if they have a piece of rock you could buy and see it that way imo.

The tank came from my LFS who is downsizing there marine section. My tank is around 15 years old with substrate.

It can never hurt to add a variety of pods to your system. Many fish love them to munch on. I add them to the sump area where I keep a pile of "extra" live rock so they can have a nice safe place to breed. From there they will easily make the trip up to the DT.
