I seen this little thing this morning, looks like a nassarius snail without its shell. I didn’t have anything to put in temporarily until I found out for sure, so hopefully if it is something that needs removing I can find it again.

How they come by to get in the tank? I haven’t added anything new in awhile. Atleast nothing with hiding spotsLooks to me like a stomatella snail, possibly. Good guy!

It’s crazy to find stuff like that. My wife found a bristle worm not to long ago. One of the many things I never knew or was told about when getting into the saltwater world.Could have been a small and just didn't notice at night I always tend to find somthing I've never seen in my tank before
Take a flashlight when lights go out you will find more than that! Always fun letting my kids check it out at nightI just started keeping a sw tank 2 weeks ago after getting my hands on an established tank. Had a few fish and hermits. Since then I've discovered brittlestars, starfish, featherduster worms, spaghetti worms, Bristleworms, copepods and amphipods... it's like every day something new emerges! Lol
Thanks for helping out! Great information to find instead of stressing over itIt is a stomatella. An awesome hitchhiker.
Awesome! Hopefully I’ll get lucky and there’s more in there hahaOne of the best algae eaters you can rarely buy and would like about 10 of these. very reef safe
