Hi as Stated above.

I've seen those small pods twice now.

Out in nighttime and attracted to light. Keen and Greate swimming skills.

They are full colour'ed orange and blue.

See if you can get one out into a little dish and take a close photo.
 
Epitokes, reproductive means of Bristleworms.
 
_That's_ the word I was looking for last night!

There's something similar (probably the epitokes of sandworms) that cruises the local harbors and bays in the summertime. You see them under the lights by the water, and the fish - even the biggest bass - gorge on them.
