Looks harmless, first time I’ve seen it. Part of the CUC?

Thanks!
Dan

That’s looks like a arm of a brittle star/mini mirror star

Gonna need to see the whole worm then...if its syllid i do believe theyre unwanted in the reef...i googled many pics but didnt see a match...

I’ve searched pics of both syllid and dorvilleidae worms, and haven’t found similar. Seems like I read similar things about syllids. Best I can get for a still shot.

Seta look off to be a Syllid and the head doesn't work for an Oenone. Fairly certain it's a Dorvilleid but can't narrow it down to a genus. I suspect it preys on smaller polychaetes.

See the head is what made me think of Oenonid worm. Maybe it's the video (or me lol) but the head looks similar to this?

Is that an A iricolor? The head of that species looks similar but imo the OPs worm shares more characteristics overall with Family Dorvilleidae than Oenonidae
They do look similar. Here is a close up of another Oenonid. I will keep on researching lol. Maybe the OP can catch it so we can get a good look at it :)
