Selcon = cyano?

Is anyone else using selcon and getting red slime?
I've been using selcon for a few months and ever since I started (0.5ml once every 1-2 days with food) I have been getting Cyanobacteria covering my LR. Stopped using it last week and the cyano is residing!!! Thank god, anyways is anyone else having these problems except me and my brother?

I add 2 drops to food every day and have no algae problems at all

I use one a week seems kinda excessive the amount your using I'd cut back half after the cyno is gone.
