I'm working on selecting a Light for my 4' long 2' wide120. I've used kesill in the past, by wasn't thrilled with it. Ideally id like to have a single long fixture cover the tank. But I know some lighting options will require getting 2 fixtures to cover the tank.

I mainly plan on stocking softies and some lps, possible a bit of sps but prob not. I know I can get away with low light for just softies but i want to get frags and grow them out and frag myself in time. I also don't want to spend a few hundred on a Light that can't grow anything but softies. Rather spend more and not have to worry.

So any recommendations are highly appreciated. [emoji4]

T5 ATI Sunpower 6 bulb if you're going with Softies/LPS with some SPS in the future.

LED wise I would go with the 48" Photon V2 from Reef Breeders for a cheaper all in one.

I run Kesill 360's love them. I hear the Kesill 700 is hard to beat. MaxSpect tried and true. Have heard good things about Prime.

Prime HD - White
Brief Description: The same AI Prime® you know, now with an enhanced spectrum and HD power. Boasting a bright new full spectrum color mix the Prime HD™ has enough power for a 24 x 24 inch (61cm x 61cm) tank. No longer are you limited to using a fixed amount of power per channel, the Hydra HD dynamically adjusts power available to each color, borrowing power from the colors you’re not utilizing. Giving you the most vivid spectrum your tank has ever seen.

I use 2 Atlantik v3 Compact fixtures on my 48x24x24 120gal tank. These are awesome lights!!!

I would second something like the V2.

CurrentUSA's Orbit Marine Pro would be a worthy option as well.

Anything that's design is oriented to your tank length vs being a spotlight, really.

I would rule out lights like the Maxspect Razor (which I own) as it's puck-based, even though you could theoretically get a 48" version. I would rule out the Kassil AP700 (a fine light) on the same basis.
