Hey everybody, I am sort of new to the hobby.. I have had a reef for about a year. Well, I have decided to get rid of the stuff in the aquarium and move back to freshwater. Im only 17, and I had the money to get it going.. but now, I have nothing to keep it going. I hate doing it, but I feel as an aquarium owner that I am neglecting my aquarium by not being able to spend money on it for things that I need. I can't even replace the bulbs. So, as bad as I hate to, because I dont want too, I am selling all of my live goodies. I have a rock of mushroom corals, I have zoanthids, large buttons, xenia, 2 brains, a star anemone, some crabs and snails, a sand sifting starfish, a red star, royal gramma, a pair of ocellaris clowns, and a yellow wrasse. There is about 110 lbs of live rock. Please let me know if you would like any of this! I hate to do it, but I will have another one as soon as I have the money to keep it up. If you want pictures of anything, just let me know and I will post them. Thanks!

My parents told me that they would help me out, I apologize for getting everybody excited about getting something new. I am really sorry... If you guys could still accept me into the forum I would very much appreciate that because I need a lot of help on my aquarium. Its a mess and I need some help on cheaper ways to do things.. Again, sorry everybody...

I think we would all rather see you stay in than get out. And yes we can help, or at least try to.

There are many ways to keep an aquarium inexpensively. I am glad that your parents are willing to help you. Let us know what you need. Some of us have excess stuff lying around. I have some calcium supplement such as Reef Advantage on hand that I don't even use. I even have some brand new PC lamps that I am not using.

Hey, thanks everybody! I will now be on the forum regularly as I have been very busy. I sold the 75 gallon aquarium, but kept the insides and put them in a 29 gallon. I recently bought an 80 gallon Euro Bow Front that I will be setting up once I have all of the equipment. I finally got a job and now I am going to do this tank right. I have a thread that I created today if you would want to check it out. Its under 80 Gallon Euro I believe :) The thing with the 75 was the live rock had aptasia and a coral killing type of fungus everywhere. I am setting up the new tank with Real Reef Rock... but that is to be announced later in the new build thread!
