Hey Everyone,
Im getting back into the marine world, about 5 years ago i had a 1400l setup with a RO system at home under the sink (i had no DI stage)..

However i overlooked an asset - purely through laziness of not wanting to lug endless containers about!

I can get my water at any stage from RO through to DI water @ 18MOm resistivity for my latest 170L adventure..

From my experience this ultra pure water can be rather corrosive, so at which stage should i tap into..?

Thanks in advance..

We all use ro/di wen we can. Once its mixed with salt it will be corrosive anyways. Think northern states with salty roads in winter. We want the ultra pure water to start with so we know that we're not adding any impurities to our tanks.

Thanks for the reply, ultra pure it is then!
