Hi guys, I just got a Seneye Reef monitor and it's showing I have a pH of 8.42 which I think is kinda high? My dkh is 7.7, calc is 500+ (im bringing it down slowly).

With this dkh is it possible to have a 8.4pH or is it likely the Seneye Reef reading is off? Thanks guys.

Red Sea Reefer 170
Deltec 600i skimmer
Running Rowaphos and carbon in a reactor
Dosing Red Sea Calc and Alk and Reef essentials amino acid
Mostly SPS frags and some zoa frags.

My Seneye reads about .15 to .25 higher than my calibrated Apex probe. It’s done this through 3 different slides now. I think the Seneye just reads a bit high.

Thank you. Looks like I have to go out and get a Hanna pH checker then. Sigh.
