Accurate? Durable?

Do they charge for the online monitoring?

I have one but only use it as a par meter and checking spectrum.

BRS tested them and they are very accurate and super easy to use.

I am always leery of a business’ opinion when they are in the biz of selling what they talking about. Lol.

Since you only use as par meter (which makes the price worth it right there), probably haven’t used it long enough to speak on durability?

I have only used it a few times in 18 months. I don’t make many changes to my lights.

If handled properly, I wouldn’t even worry about durability.

Please ask any other questions.

Have you, or can you check the other functions against whatever testing you do?

I already bought the test kit nobody likes. I would love to spend a couple hundred on something like this that will do even more than test water parameters.

I’ve never used it for any testing or monitoring. Mostly because I don’t test for the stuff it tests for! Also, I don’t want another wire running into my tank or sump.

I too use it strictly as a par meter. I can say in about 3 years Ive never cleaned it other than a quick towel dry after use but each time I toss it in the water when needed it works.

I know Seneye volunteered many units to be used in the Nitrifying bacteria test tanks that someone ran on here. I do not remember which member was running the trials but they used the ammonia monitoring as the baseline on if the bacteria was working to its claims.

I have read some rumblings about a newer version of the Seneye coming to market soon so you may want to look into that before purchasing the older unit.

I used mine to monitor Ammonia during my cycle otherwise I just use it as a PAR meter as well. It sitts in storage most of the time, but comes out every once in a while If I get a new light or coral and need to know what is up.

I use mine for testing purposes for ph so I know when to open some windows had my house tested and its air tight 8 people and a dog co2 can raise quick
