Seneye Reef won't connect to Connect App

So I recently bought a Seneye Reef primarily for the PAR meter and I can't seem to get it to connect to my desktop PC. I installed the Connect App software and plugged the seneye into my USB port but the app doesn't recognize it. The lights on the unit are blinking and I can see it recognized by my PC's devices and printers, but the app isn't syncing up to the unit. Anyone had similar issues?

Try shutting down and restarting your PC.

The last couple of times I used my Seneye I had to plug and unplug it from the computer a couple of times to get it to show up in the app.

I had this problem on my laptop, it just didn't like 2 out of 3 of my USB ports for whatever reason. You might try a different port.

So I've tried all of my USB ports. I've tried restarting my PC multiple times. I've tried reinstalling the app. I even setup a second desktop PC and tried that one and all of its USB ports and still it's not working. I've reached out to seneye support multiple times with no answer. This is getting very frustrating.

Just wanted to give an update that I did hear back from Seneye support. After discussing the situation and the things I'd tried, they recommended I try another "stock" PC as opposed to the two custom built desktop computers I was trying. I borrowed my sister's Toshiba laptop and the Seneye connected right away. I guess there's something squirrely with my other computers. It worked out better in the end though because the laptop is way more convenient for keeping near the tank to make measurements. Thanks to Seneye for working with me!

I'm having this exact issue. A bit worried that their 'solution' was find a 'stock' PC... I'll contact them and hope for the best. Have you worked out if you can use it on your custom PCs?

Unfortunately, I never got it working with my custom PC's. Although I pretty much gave up trying once I got it working with my sister's laptop. So it might still be possible I just didn't want to continue going through the effort once I found an alternate solution.

I am having the same problem, my Seneye used to work fine until a few days ago now when I start the app I see the logo for a few seconds and then it disappears and nothing happens. I connected it to my laptop and it works fine. I wish Seneye could get to the root cause of the problem and not suggest just to just try a different computer. My desktop worked fine for the last 2 years and it is right next to tank please someone help!

Was anyone able to come up with a solution? Mine worked fine a couple weeks ago and now will not open. No new downloads to my windows 10 that I am aware of.
