Im really tempted to purchase one of these devices, does anyone on here use a seneye reef and if so what do you think of it?

Is that what there planning cus ill def wait then mate? Nothing on there web site too support this tho

I have the Seneye reef . Love It ! you just have to buy the slides which Reef rediance sells .3 months 30 dollars. I like the Par meter that Is well worth It . So far It helped me place my corals and all Is doing well so far . It moniters PH ,Nh4,temp . I have it connected to my laptop which is right next to my Tank . I do use the Par meter on all my other tanks when placing corals .

Cheers for the info, I have just found news on the new products for testing nitrate calcium alkalinity etc
But I think its a separate unit so you will still need the original seneye??

From what I understand the programs will be downloadable . only thing Is the unit has to stay In the water at all times !

Would it just be a different card to fit into the original unit then? For the new tests

Looks like the added a 150.00 wifi hub you can buy in the accessies section. I think for what the seneye does/offers, it does well. You will need to either have your computer next to it to connect it, or use a USB ac/adapter to power it (and then plug it in to see your results with out the wifi).
Personally, I am going to wait for nitrates or for this: Mindstream Aquarium Monitoring System aims to dramatically change how aquarists measure aquarium parameters ? Advanced Aquarist | Aquarist Magazine and Blog
