I need help asap. I am trying to setup my Seneye I got for Christmas to the web server it came with and it is not working. Online instructions are no help and of course Seneye isn’t in the office this week due to the holidays. I’m so irritated with this thing.

connected directly to my router, everything is working. The problem is that it can’t stay connected to my router because that is upstairs and my tank is downstairs, hence the web server wifi adaptor. My internet is working fine. We are gamers so we have the best possible internet we can buy and it is currently working. The Seneye however is not. Is there something I need to do to connect the two together??? Each individually are setup, but they won’t connect together.

Did you see this page?:

It would be helpful to have more details. 'it isn't working' - is a little unspecific. What exactly have you done besides getting it working through your router - and what happens?

the only two lights that are on are the power and communication with servers (flashing)
I’ve reset everything; reset the WiFi box it came with to factory settings and redid everything, nothing is working. I have given as much information as I possibly could lol that’s why I’m posting here. I don’t have much more to offer because there isn’t anything else it’s doing or not doing…

Also I have looked at everything I possibly could find on Google. Everything on their website is basically useless to me as i can’t use an Ethernet cord as I stated in my original post. Hence the WiFi router it came with. I need it to connect to WiFi and it is not. There’s like nothing on their website that gives any helpful information as to how to disconnect the sws from the router and connect it to the WiFi router that came with it. It’s a step by step how to for each individually and I assume it’s just supposed to work, but it’s not

I think you are misreading the instructions - on that page - The ethernet cable is for the initial set up (next to. your router). Then you set up the wifi Part.

1. Did you happen to plug in the devices in the incorrect order? i.e. - there are restrictions on the initial set-up?
2. Were the lights ever flashing in a circular manner (a firmware update) - that you might have interrupted?

This page - I'm assuming you already read?

I'm only trying to help.

I set up the sws first and then the router second. Also tried it in reverse order. Reset everything, tried again both ways. I’ve had it since Saturday so I’ve done literally anything I can think of.

both set up perfectly fine no issues. The problem comes when trying to connect the sws box to the WiFi/cloud

Well I figured out part of the problem (I think)
I connected a lan cord from the WiFi box to the sws and all lights are lit up on the sws. Now my problem is that it won’t connect to the cloud because of my initial problem (WiFi box still not doesn’t have connections to my router)

Did you see the link on the troubleshooting area about checking for firewall issues?
