Since my aquarium stand doesn't have a lot of underneath mounting space for electricals (i.e. power strips, wavehead controllers, etc), I was wondering what others have used to house them. Small cabinets next to stand, vanities, etc? Looking for some ideas.

I did something like this to house my apex unit and gyre control heads on my old tank. I purchased a cabinet from target, and put a mounting board and mounted the controller to that. Wires got tucked behind :)

I used some cheap cabinets from Home Depot. I went with a 3 piece setup. They do make smaller ones to. They come unfinished so you can paint or stain them. I left mine raw. I was around $400 for the 3 and the top. Smaller one are way cheaper.

Redid the wiring since this photo.

I got an Ikea cabinet similar to this and added feet to it. Actually have two stacked on top of each other. Instead of using the flimsy back panel I cut a 1x6 and attached several pieces to the back with gaps between each for wires.
