The above shot was taken in the big tank, the Philippines. UW photography has been a hobby for decades (although I have hung up the fins to concentrate on land photography). I have used all manner of cameras and lenses. The clownfish was taken with a Nikon DSLR in an underwater housing and two strobes (flash). The lens was a Nikon 105mm 2.8 macro.
If I was allowed only one UW subject it would have to be clownfish. The subjects are limitless. Although they are not always willing participants and will attack your fingers and ears and will draw blood....
Anemones in the wild get huge, 3-4 feet across and will host 50-60 clownfish; an incredible site.
