So.......
I went to plug in my seneye and it says I must pay $60.00 to use the par meter? Surely this has to be a glitch? Cost me $200 to own $120 a year for the slides ( which I no longer use) and $60 to use the par meter. I used it yesterday with no problems....
Has this happened to anyone else?

That's weird, I'll check mine in a few and see if it does the same thing.
 
Nope, mine came up fine, must be a glitch, try logging out and back in again.
 
I’m glad yours is.... I wrote them a pretty “direct” email and now none of my passwords work. It did say when I clicked on the link in order to use the light function you are required to purchase the upgrade now. Then you must send seneye your serial number before the par meter will work. Who knows... crazy

Well that's stupid, anyone from #reefsquad or @BoomCorals have this issue with their seneye?
 
Is the old slide in it?
 
Do you have the Seneye Home or Reef? With Home the Par/Lux is an option. With Reef it is standard.
OP has used the par meter before with no issues. It just randomly locked him out.
 
Interested to see their response. I went through this a year or so ago...I was seeing $40 to access the par meter so I returned it to BRS.
 
same thing just happaned to me. i used it two days ago and was recording par. today i went to use it at peek day light and it says "upgrade"

Hi,
Sorry for late reply, this is quite likely a blip in the upgrade of your firmware at the server at seneye for your device, easily resolved dont worry. If you ever get stuck or concerned first port of call is [email protected] and you can also email us directly at [email protected] for follow ups.
 
Id say Sunday hiccup - wait until monday - they seem to run updates on the weekend that can be whacky

If anyone comes across issues always email us with your log in username (NEVER password) for your seneye.me account we can then forward to Seneye for swift reply. I strongly suggest always first emailing Seneye support directly at [email protected] until they know you have a question they cant answer ;)

We are here to help too just dont have access to the cloud mainframe.
