Seriously? Why does my build thread keep disappearing

Any idea why my build thread / my tank thread badge keep disappearing? This is the third time I've had a build thread going only to have it disappear. I know I can go back and readd it but why does it always disappear? I know I suck at keeping them up but thought I was doing a pretty good job keeping the current one updated. Is this just me or a problem site wide?

Every time we join a user group it goes away and we have to reinsert the link in our profile.

Thanks but I haven't joined any user groups. It's just a minor annoyance.

Didn't even know mine was gone until this thread.

Only reason I missed mine is because the easiest way for me to find it by clicking the badge and it is my only record of the tank progress that I've been keeping on this one. Sad I know but it's more fun doing it in a thread vs a notebook or similar

I am the same. I don't think anyone cares lol

This is the only glitch that I know of that removes it. Unfortunately, it's a glitch we have been unable to solve so far. I was unaware that this was happening when people hadn't joined a new user group. I'm not the guy to fix issues like this, but I'll be sure it's reported to the ones who can look into it.

Remember, joining any user group (reef clubs, test groups, opt out groups...literally any user group) will cause the tank thread badge to go away, but it's super easy to add your badge back. We will work on a fix for this, but in the short term, adding it back is the easiest solution.

#MODS Still happening. I unjoined having the forum send live sale solicitations a few days ago. I wonder if unjoining something causes it to disappear like joining a group does it's not big deal but I figured I would update since it seems that joining a group isn't the only thing that causes it.

Hi! Joining one of the opt out groups is technically still joining a user group, so unfortunately, yes, it does still cause the badge to disappear. Sorry for the annoyance.

Its all good. I just thought maybe I had some helpful info. But since unjoining is the same as joining I guess not

For sure. I just hate that this is an issue at all. It is one I hope we can figure out a fix for soon.
