Actually it's a mid sized camping trailer. I live in a year round RV park. It doesn't move and I treat it like a mobile home.
It is in a closet, the bottom of which is a storage area that is perfect for a 10g sump. I've reinforced the area with squares made with 2x4, and fastened them with drywall screws. There is a 1/2 inch peice of plywood along the bottom of the tank to support the weight evenly.
I'm going to put a similar peice of plywood on the bottom of the trailer, directly below the tank and hold it up with two jacks.
You can see that I cut some of the 2×4s a little too short, and I used shims to tighten the joints. A carpenter I'm not. I should cover those shims with JB weld or something,
Here is where the sump will be.
We shall see after I get all the pluming hooked up, what will happen when I fill it with water. I'm not too worried.
