Dumb question my tank has built in overflow. I did all the plumbing. Now I'm attempting to set up my pump, Vectra M2. It has the Mobius app. It connected the first time I tried, but not after. I calibrated, but then the water never actually pumped other than when in the calibration process.

So I attempted to manually do it through the physical driver. But now it's flowing too hard even on the lowest setting.

How much should the water move? Should it sound like a cascading waterfall or no sound at all? I feel like an idiot asking, but I couldn't find any resources to help me figure this out. Been trying longer than I care to admit, so any feedback would be appreciated.

How do you have it plumbed? Just the one drain, and the return? If that’s how you have it it’s gonna sound like a waterfall.

You want to set it up as a Herbie overflow. This will require you to run the return line over the back of the tank, since the two drilled holes in the over flow will be needed to complete this setup. You will be able to make it dead silent if you got this route. Here is a link that will tell you all about it:

So theres no way to modify what I have right now? Other than to redo the plumbing?

What you currently have will work, but it’s gonna have noise associated with it.

I’d try to run the calibration again, when I first switched to Mobius on my M2 it failed a few times. Eventually it worked. That might help, but honestly it’s not gonna help how much noise your current set up makes.
