Will the neptune apex system aquarium controller be a good investment very new to the hobby. (Reef/Fish) thank y'all for the help Ps. trying to make the tank automated much as possible. anything else I should buy as well

If your goal is to make the tank as automated as possible, some type of controller will be required. The Neptune Apex fits this requirement for sure.

My general suggestion is to keep things manual until such time as you understand them, and only then automate them. This process ensures that when (not if - when) the automation fails, you are knowledgeable about how to handle the situation - and very likely have whatever gear is required to implement the manual solution.

I never through about it that way, Thank you. I work a lot of over in the holiday seasons. that is really that only time I would need it. is their anything else you add to my list I already have?
