Setting up a JBJ nano as a frag tank.

Still working on this project. This will be a stand alone aio tank rather than plumbed into the main system. I'm thinking that instead of a frag rack on the bottom, I'll do a 4" dsb. The sand should work just as effectively for frag plugs and of course will give good filtration. Then I'll do a second tier frag rack and maybe a few frag racks with magnets.

I don't know which skimmers will fit the chambers on my JBJ 25g, but I am thinking that the Tunze 9004 is probably my best option. I will probably also do purigen and chemipure or GFO.

Once established the DSB could be really cool. I'm not sure its worth all the extra work/risk, however. If done right it could be problem-free. If you get a disease or some nuisance animal/algae involved it will be that much more difficult to get rid of. For frag tanks, I'm all about bare-bottom, for ease of maintenance. Unless you're housing a bunch of fish along with your corals, or wanting to over-feed for some reason, I'm not seeing the need for a DSB. Just my 2 cents.
