Setting up a qt (questions)

Im wondering what I need to do to set up a temporary qt just until new/sick fish are healthy then I’m taking it down.

I know I need a heater, filter, seeded media, and pvc pipe, but do I take the water from the dt or do I make new ro/di saltwater? If I take it from the dt will ICH or any other parasites come with it?

Yes Ich and all the rest will come with it.
Better is fresh saltwater and copper treatment.
Leave DT fallow with no fish for 8+ weeks.
