I want to setup an ro/di unit in my basement, and the water supply is in the ceiling. Would the waste water be able to get pumped up 6 feet to the ceiling, where the drain pipe is, from a table, or would it be to high for the unit to reach?

No problem. My two suggestions though are to make sure you have an air gap between the RO waste line and the drain, don't just stick it in the pipe, and once you have it all installed check your waste ratio and adjust it to manufacturers specs with a properly trimmed capillary tube flow restrictor if it is out of range. 6 feet shouldn't make much if any difference though as that is only about 2.5 psi back pressure.
