setting up an rodi unit, what filter media should i use?

Got this unit second hand and never set it up two ish years ago. Its one from the filter guys. Any recommendations on what media i should get? will one of the kits they have on brs work?

Depends on what your water report says. If your tap water has high chloramines I would ensure you have an appropriate pre filter to deal with it.

I used to use the filter guys kits before they closed. Now I just use the brs media. Seems to work fine.

Yes, that kit should work for that system. I would recommend replacing the ro membrane as well as it's been sitting for a while.

Good advice above about the chloramines, find out if they are in the water and if not, replace all the membranes with the correct to membrane for you gpd flow
