Setting up Apex - Outlet question

I have 2 power cords for each of my LED's and 3 LED lights = 6 cords.

Can i connect those 2 from each LED light to one extension cord THEN run it into the energy bar outlet #1 etc...?

Essentially I would like to make 6 cords into 1 to plug into the EB. Is that doable?

It depends on the power usage of the light fixtures. Outlets have a power rating, I linked the instructions below.

Also, if they are “smart” programmable lights, there’s no need to plug them into the power bar anyway.

Plug 1 light in and measure the power it uses then multiply that by 6 and if it’s less then the outlet can handle you will be fine. Obviously round up just to be safe

Which EnergyBar do you have? Each model has different specifications:

• The EB832 has (8) outputs rated for 7 amps, but a total of 15 amps for the whole unit.
• The EB8 has (6) ouputs rated for 5 amps, (2) rated for 10 amps, but a total of 15 amps for the whole unit.

They are not the smart kind. I bought them quite a while back. Some Chinese knock off but i had our reef president that is a electrical engineer redo all the lights in it. He ended up putting some cree something or another in them but they look really good

like has been said plug one led in and check the current draw, multiply by 6. Only then will you know if the outlet can handle all six leds.
