Setting up Avast Marine Plank Feeder with Apex

I am trying to set up my new Plank for use while I am on vacation but I am having several issues...

1. I am having trouble with setting up the APEX code I need so I was thinking I would just turn the outlet on manually each day while I am away but when I turn the outlet on, the drum starts turning, but then when I turn the outlet off, the drum keeps rotating. anyone experienced that?

2. What code should I use to simply have the outlet turn on once per day for 15 seconds?

OK, I figured out I have a bad outlet in my EB8. So I can now manage manually. But any tips on programming an outlet for on once per day for 15 seconds will be appreciated. Thanks.
