Hi I'm sure this questions have been ask 1000 times and a few by me also lol

I'm looking to start my 2 part seachem fusion on a doser right now params are

Alk 10dkh
Mag 1000
Cal 420
Ph 8.1ish
Nitrate 5.0ppm
Phos 0.25ppm

So my question is should I start with the recommended dose from the 2 part?
I have been testing almost daily alk hardly never moves cal drops along with mag and ph I've been chasing these numbers for a while so if I start with the recommended dose from the bottle that should keep it at these levels correct? I know mag needs to go up and I would like for Alk to come down but it's been at 10 for weeks in that time cal dropped to 360ish and mag went from 1400 to 1000ish and oh dropped from 8.4 to now 8.1 any ideas?
If I should start dosing what's a good schedule I have the jebao 4 pump doser I also dose fuel and phyto off of it fuel twice a day at 5ml and phyto once a day at 4ml

@Randy Holmes-Farley

Appreciate any help here I know you get tired of answering the same questions lol :-)

I have no idea how they set the "recommended dose" but if alk is not dropping noticeably, the calcium is not likely dropping either, and you need little to no two part.

Are you using tap water? That might help maintain alkalinity.

Yes and no on tap water I use this for my top off of about a gal a day with 7 drops of prime in it would this keep Alk up? Cal and mag does drop per my redsea and api tests

Recommended dose is 10ml each part per 65 gal every 1-2 days

Good call on the alk from the di unit I just checked it and it was about 4-5 dkh from the unit

So does this mean I can't use the 2 part?

Going to get an rodi unit just haven't yet got 1 more cartridge for this thing

If you do not need alkalinity, you have no need for a two part, but you can use just the calcium part to boost calcium, or just buy calcium chloride.

Yes I stated mag was low it and cal was the only thing I have seen dropping but from randys guidance my top off water has been adding all back to the tank I had not been adding anything to the tank for few weeks to get my consumption levels so the mag was low I normally keep it about 1400

Thanks for checking it out :-)
