So, my husband got me a small tank so I can have my salt water tank!! I have a 75 gallon and a 50 gallon that I wanted to turn into my salt water tank. Unfortunately, it's pretty pricey and we just can't do that right now. So, I got my Valentine's present a little early! It's a small tank, so I'll at least be able to build it up to maybe convert over to my big tank. I've always wanted SEAHORSES lol so that is my goal!! Any and all advice is more than welcome!! I need any tips, tricks, or advice on what seahorses love and need. I know the tank needs to cycle for at least 6 weeks or so. I do know a little bit so far

I’m hardly the resident seahorse expert but I do keep and breed them.
you won’t need a heater for erectus or reidi provided you maintain room temps, under 75F preferable.
Clean water is a must, macro algaes, sponges and gorgonians are good and easy to maintain
I’d do barebottom and a train to a feeding dish/clam shell
Medium current is ok,

Welcome to R2R, and good luck with your first SW tank! I'll be following closely as I have frequently thought of having a dedicated seahorse tank but was always put off by the cold water requirement. What size tank did you go with?
