Setting up new tank/building rock formation

I am starting a new reef tank and will be building/stacking/molding dry live rock to create formation I want. Is there a "reef safe" molding clay or cement or epoxy I can use from your local home depot or lowes?? Instead of buying the reef approved stuff online. .

I want to say that there's a couple of videos on youtube showing you how and what to use on DIY rocks. Also check in the DIY forums tab there might be something in there already.

I used hydraulic cement from Lowes, same stuff Marco Rocks sells. Works really well and will hold some insane shapes together!!

You can also use the baking soda supper glue method just google it.

I've seen threads where they used "pond foam", which is black but you can coat it with sand.

JB WaterWeld; way better than aquarium branded epoxy.

Do, it works pretty well?

I’ve got a big redo coming up, and it’s a tall tank (36”). I’m going to do 3 primary structures that are pretty vertical, but also want some shelving elements.

Also, some of the rocks are pretty big (25lb+), so I want something that is stronger and more dense than the traditional aquarium cements and epoxies.
