Setting up new tank

You need to ‘cycle’ the aquarium first before you add anything if you haven’t already.

This is a good guide

If you’ve done this already you need to test all your water parameters and get them stable. Probably test once or twice a week whilst new. I test weekly now but my system is mature.

This is another excellent guide

Definitely read the article above!!!!! Then, if you have questions, just ask. There are different ways to cycle your tank and get it ready for fish and corals.

I think you may have seen this already, but it does have good info on the questions you are asking:

This video is also a good introduction to the basic testing, before you get to the point where you are ready to add coral

Nothing goes quickly in saltwater. Everything is worth the wait. Do NOT let Impulse get the best of you.

lastly. . . . . . .
