Setting up New XR15 Ecosmart live won't connect

I have to start the Live connection manager first and then go to the web site. Could that be an issue for you?

I would try doing a factory reset and try it again. If that doesn't work try plugging it into a different usb slot on your computer. Also unplug and plug it back in. I had to do all of that several times to get mine to connect.

Trust me their software is junk. It was a pain connecting 4 mp40's, 3 xr30w's, and a vectra m1 all to reeflink or my computer. After about an hour of plugging/unplugging and factory reseting it all finally connected. They get my vote for crappiest working software of the century.

I have tried fact-reset, fatal error trying to update firmware all on usb, and on two lights, just times out scanning.
BTW I have 2 mp's and a vectra. Not seeing squat

Is it the usb cable that came with the light? For some reason I've had some usb cables that work and some that didn't. Don't ask me why, i dunno. I had to try three different cables one time before it finally worked.

Are you on Windows 10? I couldn't get mine to setup on Windows 7.

My Pc see's the light and loaded the driver but the software bombs on the search for devices, Win10 using a 12' extension usb3 cable plus the supplied cbl

I would restart your computer and try plugging into a different usb outlet. If that doesn't work then I would try it without the extension.

I have set all of mine up on three different reeflinks and everytime I had to factory reset everything. It was a big pain in the butt every time.

It's definitely not for those with a short temper, ha. Ask me how I know. When you can do the exact same thing 10 times in a row and it works on the 10th time then something is definitely off.

Don't even get me started on setting up GHL equipment.

ok did the factory rest w/pbs and all lights shut down, so they are synced but software scan bombs.... :mad: software
