I just purchased (second hand) my first protein skimmer and cant seem to figure out how to set it up. Its the weipro SA-2005 internal skimmer. It runs but theres a lot of water and bubbles coming out of the flume and im not sure how to adjust the flow or how its supposed to be

Google 'weipro SA-2005 internal skimmer' and check the videos.

This is a very inexpensive skimmer and I have no experience with it. But I wouldn't expect much from it. Good skimmers can cost anywhere from 3 to 10 times what this one sells for.

Good luck.

I’ve researched lots and no luck, not a very popular one apparently, I bought it cheap as I plan to upsize and didn’t want anything expensive in the meantime

Post a pic. That always helps.
Off and running!

You can put a piece of foam block on the return to help break up the bubbles. I had to do this on one of my old internal skimmers. You can pick these up from Petco for about $5. You can cut them to fit.
