Setting up sump

Hooked up my tank and sump last night and didn't flood the house. Got to recut one of my walls shorter to raise the water level in the return area. I sure hate cutting down a wall and having to redo it, but that's life. Ha. Question I have is need a sump lite for the refugium but have small sump 9 inches. Was at lowes and saw some small 12in strips LEDs. Puts out 132 lumens, enough for alge growth or can you recommend any better? Thanks for any advice.

Use a PAR38 floodlight CFL bulb... cheap and effective...

I use a cheap aluminum shopping light reflector and 24 watt 6500k compact fluorescent light bulb.

Agreed, just get an elceapo clamp on light and then get a Par38 bulb.
