Like the title states I'm preparing to setup Trident controlled dosing. Space is limited so I'm trying to to determine where to mount the Dos units and containers of liquid to be dosed. One option is on a shelf in my utility room the Dos pump could basically draw directly from the containers in this location but would then have to push the solution through 14-15' of tubing before they reached the return chamber of my sump, are there issues with accuracy pushing liquid to dose over this distance? Will the dosing lines clog up with solution sitting in this 14' run? I'm new to using the Dos to move anything but water so want to double check.

Thanks

I dont think it would make a difference as long as the lines were purged of air...but heres a bump for some opinions.

Agree, as you push - for theoretical purposes- an non compressible liquid through the tubing you are good to go. As long you don’t suck air into line via the fittings. That is the beauty of the peristaltic pump design. In my set up I have 6 feet from dosing resevior to DOS and than 8-10 feet to sump. Did the calibration on the whole length of tubing and no problem thus far! The only problem is that I had precipitation on the tube end in the sump....put a little power head solved that problem
