Setting up UV

I’m setting up my UV and I have some 3/4 in silicone tubing lying around. I was using it to leak test the UV and it fits on the 1 in fitting rather snugly. My question is do you think this is ok to use long term? Thanks for the input.

I don't see a problem with it as long as you make sure it doesn't kink or collapse in on itself over time

If you're worried about it coming off you could zip tie the ends.

More worried about it possibly splitting over time due to being stretched out.

Yea i see what you're saying. I'd definitely keep an eye on it and avoid moving the tubing around frequently.

If you heat it up with your wifes hair dryer it will slide right on.
