What is the best RODI unit to use for well water. I have my RODi hooked up to my city water. But it's really expensive doing 60 to 70 gallon water changes every month. I have a well for watering the yard and thought it would be great to buy another RODI unit and hook it up to the well. The water is clear but wondering about what the best unit people use . Also there is a small filter on the pvc pipe to catch any thing in the water. So where do I hook up the RODI to the PVC My friends don't have aquariums and they are not sure how to help, but if I have info I can see if someone can help with plumbing I just want to make sure I have really safe water to set up a water station in my garage

From what I've heard some with wells have even more issues. May be better adding a booster pump to your current system.

If you do want to go through with it just plumb a 3/4 hose bibb or faucet anywhere in the system where it will fit.

Edited: didn't read the whole post before commenting. I'd hook up the system as stated above. Might consider an ICP test on the product water before using in your tank. Well water can be sketchy. I'd test just RO, and RODI separately. Irrigation wells are usually not deep like drinking water wells. I'd be more worried about pesticides and other undesirable contaminants.

That's what I was concerned about pesticides and contamination. Here in Florida only had to go down 25 feet to pump crystal clear water. To water my yard ..I do organic gardening but im sure most people dont.so I didn't know if there was a really good RODI unit for wells to take out contaminants. But t.y. for your input I will have the water tested first. Before i hook anything up. I do have a RODI unit hooked up to my city water but its expensive with doing 70 gallon water changes thought it would be great to hook up to my well pump
