Setting Up Waterbox 10

So the waterbox jave three chambers. The first chamber I will either have a filter sock or get a media basket 3 tiers' but what are your opinions on the middle. A fuge with a aquamaxx 1.0 hob or just the skimmer? Would the skimmer suck all cheato in if there was a fuge with the skimmer wdyt let me know ur opinions.

Skimmers aren’t needed in nano. You would benefit more from a fuge

Not sure about that. I have a Waterbox 20 with a skimmer and that thing is the heart of my successful system. Pulls out a ton of thick mud.

Deltec mce600. Sucks everything out.

I have a waterbox 20, I put a eshopps skimmer.

I've never been impressed with HOB skimmers. They are usually loud, are prone to pushing tons of micro bubbles into the tank, and are eye sores. I'm about to build a Waterbox 10 cube for my daughter's room so I'm definitely interested in this topic.

I don’t have a waterbox, but I do have a 22g nano tank - I also use the eshopps nano skimmer and love it. It has been running for almost 2 years with no problems.

i'm setting up a Waterbox 10 for my wife's nems & clowns. How high should the waterline be set to in the pump chamber?

I have the one in my daughter's room running about 3" from the top so I can completely cover the heater.
