Hi R2R,

Not new to fish, but new to saltwater and reefing. Been lurking on here for a while with an occasional post. Just started my build thread. Building a new house and I'm able to incorporate a reef tank and fish room into the design so I'm going all in.

Spent 10 years in the military and that got in the way of being an aquarist. So now that I'm settling in, I'm excited to be here.

I've learned a lot and expect I'll learn much more.

The goal is for a peaceful ~120 gallon mixed reef tank.

Cheers

TWD

Welcome! Retired Navy Senior Chief. Know the feeling. Glad to have you with us. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Crazy Royal Gamma in my tank! I added a emerald crab today. He immediately went to a crevice under the rock on the sand. My Royal Gamma swam directly to him and started acting very strangely. He/She started digging in the sand around him, hovering over him, backing itself into the crevice with him. When my clown fish came to say hi the gamma opened it's mouth as wide as it could and charged them. Strange. After a while the gamma swam off and everyone is friends again.
