Setup of used classic apex

I’ve got a used apex on the way and was wondering what steps should be taken to get it going. I was planning to perform a factory reset, update the firmware, link to my recently created fusion account, and start playing with it. Any other suggestions? The net connection will be hardwired, and I plan to test everything before actually using it to control the tank. Thanks

Sounds to me you have a good plan. Just make sure it’s erased and the old users info is gone

Make sure the previous owner has deleted it from his/her Fusion account.

Thanks for the replies. I just sent a message to the seller about the possible fusion account issue.
